ThriveT1D is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children and teens living with Type 1 diabetes through connection, education, advocacy, and community.
A Type 1 diabetes diagnosis can be overwhelming, and many young people struggle to find peers who truly understand the daily challenges they face. ThriveT1D works to bridge that gap by creating opportunities for youth to connect, share experiences, and build meaningful friendships with others living with Type 1 diabetes.
Through youth-focused support meetings, educational programs, guest speakers, and community outreach initiatives, ThriveT1D helps young people and their families access resources, gain confidence, and feel supported throughout their journey. Our encouragement card program provides messages of hope and support to newly diagnosed youth, helping them feel welcomed into a caring community from the very beginning.
As we continue to grow, ThriveT1D is expanding its impact through new initiatives that strengthen peer connections, increase awareness, and support more families across the region. Every program is guided by our belief that no child should have to navigate Type 1 diabetes alone.
